SUMMARY:Under limited supervision, provides professional knowledge for project development, design and permitting of all BJWSA private development related projects. Coordinates activities to ensure all projects are designed, permitted, and delivered in a timely manner.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Provides management and assistance for all BJWSA land development or capital improvement projects. Uses independent judgment to ensure projects are developed, designed and permitted in a timely and cost effective manner. Coordinates projects with Federal & State regulatory agencies, as applicable.
Responsible for the completion, submission, and review of various required documents including new project status/progress requests, progress reports, plans, specifications, technical reports, and purchase orders.
Uses experience and discretion as a representative of the Authority at various public committee meetings, related groups, and governmental agencies in the development of assigned projects.
Maintains up-to-date files and updated technical manuals.
Works with the appropriate local government agencies to provide the technical support for all grant-funded projects, when required.
Receives, considers, and responds in a professional manner to customers, vendors and, suppliers.
Assists in the mapping efforts and provides technical support for mapping systems and activities
Operates and utilizes related equipment and machinery to include a copier, plotter, computer, printer, etc.
Performs other duties as required within the scope of responsibility.

Must possess experience working with various computer applications and the ability to use BJWSA-specific software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training license, preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license.
