Position Summary:

Dynamics D365 Finance and Operations Application Administrator responsible for the configuration, implementation, modification, and support of multiple modules including, but not limited to, Accounts Payable, Cost Accounting, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Inventory, Procurement, and System Administration. Essential functions and qualifications listed below.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop custom workflows, dashboards, and reports for Dynamics F&O using tools such as SSMS, Visual Studio, PowerBI and other tools per project needs that conform to standards as set by the Information Technology department.
  • Provide significant input to policies, practices, and projects involving production computer operations.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles to communicate with end users for requirements gathering and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical support for D365 issues and troubleshoot system errors, bugs, and performance issues.
  • Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including design specifications, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Work closely with consultants to create or coordinate the creation of X++ code. Ensure applications are kept updated by testing and applying patches and upgrades per guidelines set by management.

  • Develop an understanding of in-house applications and their interdependencies. Develop and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365, other 3rd party software, and CWS applications using APIs, OData and other integration tools.
  • Direct and assist DBA with design, creation, and maintenance of databases per project and application needs.
  • Manage project tasks and timelines.
  • Communicate project status and deliverables with managers and users.
  • Create documentation with regard to processes, change management requests, and incident resolutions.
  • Primary technical subject matter expert for assigned applications and processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key process owners, collaborating with them to review customer satisfaction, project priorities, service needs, process improvements, etc.
  • Quickly respond to support tickets from departments according to company procedures.
  • Routine daily maintenance of existing sites and applications.
  • Manage and attend project meetings with users.
  • Other tasks as needed for successful project completion.
  • May be required to work during emergency conditions.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Job performance must conform to all CWS policies and procedures.
  • Specific knowledge of CWS Environmental Management System Policy and Procedures.
  • Knowledge of ANSI standard SQL, Windows operating systems, MS Word, MS Excel, and SharePoint.

SYSTEMS ANALYST

Salary Range: $64,500.80 ($31.01/hr) - $99,964.80 ($48.06/hr)

The candidate demonstrating the following abilities may be placed at a Grade 110:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Computer related field or Mathematics, - OR - an Associate Degree in Computer Science, three (3) years' experience as a programmer - OR - Associates Degree in Finance or Accounting with three (3) years SQL, PowerBI or report writing experience. -OR- An equivalent combination of related education and experience to equal six (6) years.
  • Thorough and complete knowledge of all technical development tools, backup/recovery techniques, and operating/network system platforms used in system development at CWS.
  • Working knowledge of computer languages and tools as listed above.
  • Knowledge of computer operations and application run procedures.

  1. SYSTEMS ANALYST

Salary Range: $72,238.40 ($34.73/hr) - $111,966.40 ($53.83/hr)

The candidate demonstrating the following abilities may be placed at a Grade 111:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Computer related field or Mathematics and two (2) years programming or SQL, PowerBI or report writing experience, - OR - an Associate Degree in Computer Science, five (5) years' experience as a programmer - OR - Associates Degree in Finance or Accounting with five (5) years SQL, PowerBI or report writing experience. -OR- An equivalent combination of related education and experience to equal eight (8) years.
  • Thorough and complete knowledge of all technical development tools, backup/recovery techniques, and operating/network system platforms used in system development at CWS.
  • Working knowledge of computer languages and tools as listed above.
  • Knowledge of computer operations and application run procedures.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate directly with peers, managers, and users while leading development to a completed and successful solution.
  • Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of clients' timelines and budgets.
