Darlington County Water & Sewer Authority seeks an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead a utility serving approximately 19,000 customers, with 43 employees and an annual budget exceeding $10 million.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the General Manager oversees water and wastewater operations, financial management, personnel, regulatory compliance, customer service, and infrastructure planning.
Candidates should demonstrate successful management experience in utilities, public works, government, infrastructure, or a comparable organization, with strong financial, leadership, and communication skills. Knowledge of South Carolina utility operations and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
A related bachelor’s degree is preferred, not required. Relevant experience and demonstrated leadership will receive full consideration.
